Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Power Automate Developer with over 10 years of IT experience to join our team for a remote opportunity based in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Automate, and a proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-level workflow automation solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Analyzing business processes and identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Integrating Power Automate with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Azure services, and third-party applications.
  • Developing custom connectors and APIs to extend Power Automate capabilities.
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing existing workflows for performance and reliability.
  • Ensuring governance, security, and compliance standards are maintained within Power Platform environments.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and system administrators.
  • Creating technical documentation, solution design documents, and user guides.
  • Providing production support and resolving automation-related incidents.
  • Mentoring junior developers and promoting best practices in Power Platform development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 4+ years in Power Platform development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate (Cloud Flows and Desktop Flows).
  • Experience with Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON, JavaScript, and Microsoft Graph API.
  • Experience integrating with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Azure services.
  • Solid understanding of workflow automation, RPA concepts, and business process re-engineering.
  • Knowledge of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) in Power Platform.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or related certifications.
  • Experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD for Power Platform.
  • Experience working in enterprise environments with governance and compliance requirements.
  • Prior experience working with clients in Chicago or within U.S.-based remote teams.
