Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced AI Agent Developer with 10+ years of overall IT experience to join our team in Illinois. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven agents and intelligent automation solutions. You will work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to build scalable AI systems that enhance business operations and customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing AI agents using modern AI/ML frameworks and large language models (LLMs).
  • Building conversational AI solutions including chatbots and virtual assistants.
  • Integrating AI agents with enterprise systems, APIs, and cloud platforms.
  • Developing prompt engineering strategies and optimizing LLM performance.
  • Implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
  • Fine-tuning and evaluating machine learning and deep learning models.
  • Ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of AI solutions in production.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into AI-driven solutions.
  • Creating technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides.
  • Monitoring AI agent performance and continuously improving response accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of IT experience with 4+ years in AI/ML development.
  • Strong experience with Python and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or open-source models).
  • Experience in prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience building REST APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Strong understanding of NLP, deep learning, and AI system design.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
  • Knowledge of MLOps practices and CI/CD for AI applications.
  • Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Prior experience working on enterprise-scale AI transformation projects.
  • Relevant AI or cloud certifications.
