Title: Data Engineer

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or similar role, with a strong background in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and architectures.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
- Hands-on experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Talend, Informatica).
- Solid programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and familiarity with related services like S3, Redshift, BigQuery.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to ingest, transform, and store structured and unstructured data.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through validation, testing, and monitoring processes.
- Optimize and tune data systems and queries for performance and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain data security and privacy measures.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, workflows, and standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data engineering and recommend best practices.
