Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Power Automate Developer with over 10 years of IT experience to join our team for a remote opportunity based in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Automate, and a proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-level workflow automation solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and drive digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and implementing automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
- Analyzing business processes and identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Integrating Power Automate with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Azure services, and third-party applications.
- Developing custom connectors and APIs to extend Power Automate capabilities.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing existing workflows for performance and reliability.
- Ensuring governance, security, and compliance standards are maintained within Power Platform environments.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and system administrators.
- Creating technical documentation, solution design documents, and user guides.
- Providing production support and resolving automation-related incidents.
- Mentoring junior developers and promoting best practices in Power Platform development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 4+ years in Power Platform development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate (Cloud Flows and Desktop Flows).
- Experience with Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse.
- Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON, JavaScript, and Microsoft Graph API.
- Experience integrating with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Azure services.
- Solid understanding of workflow automation, RPA concepts, and business process re-engineering.
- Knowledge of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) in Power Platform.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or related certifications.
- Experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
- Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD for Power Platform.
- Experience working in enterprise environments with governance and compliance requirements.
- Prior experience working with clients in Chicago or within U.S.-based remote teams.
